Michigan gas prices are up about four cents this week to a statewide average $2.52 a gallon, according to AAA of Michigan. The auto club reports the most expensive gas can be found in the Tri-Cities area where pumps are asking $2.56 a gallon, while the cheapest gas is in Traverse City where it’s $2.27 a gallon. Locally, St. Clair County area pumps are on average asking about $2.53 for regular unleaded.
