A worldwide network of accounting firms has merged with public accounting firm Stewart, Beauvais, and Whipple. Announced yesterday, UHY certified public accountants has merged with the longtime Port Huron firm, becoming UHY’s fifth office in Michigan and first in the thumb region. Mike Turnbull – former principal accountant at Stewart, Beauvais, and Whipple – will be managing director of the new UHY Port Huron Office. “We are very excited about the opportunities this merger brings to both firms and all of our clients,” said Turnbull. “Both firms have a great reputation in providing quality service and this will only improve by bringing our talented professionals together”
