The Port Huron City Council meets tonight in a regular session meeting. Council members will be asked to approve the purchase of one new pickup truck for$26,000 dollars for the fire department and two new SUV’s for $68,000 for the police department. Council members will also be asked to accept a bid from Dean Marine and Excavating for $66,000 for Black River Canal dredging. Also tonight, council will also be asked to approve or deny a resolution in favor of a liquor license for a new brewery, Dirty Thumb Brewing Company, to be located in the 1600 block of Pine Grove Avenue. Port Huron City Council meets at 7pm tonight via zoom.
