Santa Claus comes to town tonight in Port Huron. Stepping off at 6pm is the Sperry’s Santa Clause Parade followed by the annual tree lighting of Port Huron’s Christmas tree. The tree lighting will once again take place near the Community Foundation at Military and Water Streets due to ongoing construction at the McMorran Plaza. Port Huron’s Downtown Development Authority Director Cynthia Cutright says while you’re downtown for the tree lighting, be sure to visit one of the many locally owned stores and restaurants. She tells WPHM you can find gifts for everyone on your holiday shopping list in Downtown Port Huron, with many stores offering specials for Small Business Saturday too.
