It’s a $2.5 million project to rehab a bridge of the Belle River in Southern St. Clair County. Starting Monday, Palms Road between Division and St. Clair Highway in Casco Township will be reduced to facilitate the start of construction. Then on April 11th, the St. Clair County Road Commission will close the roadway entirely to through traffic for approximately 90 days. Access to Palms will be maintained for local traffic only with through traffic being re-routed to St. Clair Highway, Hessen, and Division Road. The project is being financed by the State of Michigan’s Bridge Bonding program and work will be performed by C.A. Hull.
