A crash early Wednesday morning on M-90 in Sanilac County’s Lexington Township has injured two. According to the Sanilac County Sheriff’s Department, it happened around 1:15am on East Peck Road near Wixson Road. A 48 year old Croswell woman was traveling westbound when she reportedly crossed the center line in her pickup truck. A 40 year old Lexington woman was driving a sedan in the oncoming lane of traffic and was struck head on. Both drivers were pinned inside the vehicles and were extricated by local fire and rescue crews. They were taken to a Port Huron area hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries. Authorities say alcohol is suspected in the crash.
