Authorities are working to confirm the identity of a deceased woman found last night in the Black River. Around 5:30pm Sunday a homeowner on Strawberry Lane in Port Huron spotted the woman. She was removed from the water by the Port Huron Fire Department and the St. Clair County Sheriff. Detectives from both the Sheriff’s Office and Port Huron Police are currently trying to identify the woman and her next of kin. WPHM will have more on this story as it becomes available.
