Members of the Port Huron Area School District Board of Education have set March 1st as the beginning of full face to face instruction for all grade levels in the district. In a special session meeting Friday afternoon, district members voted in favor of the measure, amending the district’s return to learn plan that was adopted January 19th. The school board previously agreed to resume face to face learning March 1st for only the elementary school level with hybrid continuing for grade 6 through 12. Under the new plan passed Friday, all grade levels will resume full in person instruction March 1st. The board will have the option to revisit the return to learn plan at their regularly scheduled February 22nd board meeting.
