A Sanilac County man had to be rescued from beneath a piece of heavy equipment Tuesday afternoon. According to the Sanilac County Sheriff’s Department, the 64 year old from Croswell was operating the backhoe in is back yard near Wagner and Harrington Roads Tuesday when it overturned and he became pinned underneath. The Croswell Fire Department, Croswell EMS, and a neighboring man were able to assist victim. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
