After reaching their highest point of the year last week, gas prices are starting this week out slightly lower. AAA of Michigan says prices at the pump fell two cents a gallon to a statewide average of $3.31 a gallon for regular unleaded. It’s still 15-cents more than last month and $1.31 more than this time last year. AAA of Michigan says high crude prices above $80 a barrel continue to keep pump prices elevated. Locally, St. Clair County Pumps are slightly higher than the statewide average, asking $3.33 a gallon.
