Marysville council seeks charter amendments

Marysville City Council will meet in regular session this evening. A trio of proposed city charter amendments are expected to be brought forward. They include changing the term of office for mayor and removing a section of the charter that deals with nepotism, among others. Council is also expected to approve expenditures for a new valve at one of the city’s water towers and $107,000 for new concreate for the Public Safety Building. Marysville City Council meets at 7:30pm at their City Hall on Delaware Avenue.

It’s a relatively brief agenda for tonight’s Port Huron City Council Meeting. Council members will be asked whether or not to approve a proposal for $50,000 to design and construct a new pathway in Sanborn Park. Two new columbaria for Lakeside Cemetery, totaling nearly $44,000 dollars is also on the agenda for this evening’s Port Huron City Council Meeting. Council meets at 7pm tonight at the Municipal Office Center.
