Port Huron motorcyclist dies after striking deer

A 52 year old Port Huron man has died after he struck a deer in Sanilac County’s Worth Township this past weekend. Around 4 am Sunday morning, a passerby in the area of St. Clair Road near Wellman Line Road called the Sanilac County Sheriff’s Office to report a motorcycle-deer collision. The victim is believed to have been traveling northbound on St. Clair Road on his motorcycle when he struck a deer. Investigators say he sustained fatal injuries as a result of the crash. The name of the victim is being withheld pending further investigation.
