Two shot, injured in Downtown Port Huron Sunday

Port Huron Police are investigating a downtown Port Huron shooting that occurred during the early morning hours Sunday. Lieutenant Jeremy Young tells WPHM two individuals were shot in the East Quay Street parking lot shortly after 2am. The victims were able to take themselves to the hospital for treatment and sustained non-life threatening injuries. It is unknown what may have provoked the shooting.

Police say they are still looking for the suspect or suspects and no description is available at this time. Young described the scene of the shooting as “chaotic” with multiple vehicles fleeing and a good chance there being witnesses to the shooting.
