Gas prices in Michigan are down about a nickel compared to last week according to the latest gas price survey by AAA of Michigan. The auto club says the average daily gas price is $3.19 a gallon, which is down 22-cents from last month but still a $1.18 more than this time last year. The most expensive fuel in the state can be found in the Marquette area and the least expensive is in Grand Rapids. Locally, Port Huron area pumps are asking on average $3.29 a gallon.
