Sarnia’s Mayor is sounding off about the trucker protests which have closed the Ambassador bridge and lead to long lines at the Blue Water bridge earlier this week. Mayor Mike Bradley is calling on leaders in Ottawa and Toronto to break up the blockades in order to allow the free movement of goods and people between the U.S. and Canada.

“In the end it’s probably going to have to be a police action,” said Bradley. “They going to have to do something because you just can’t let them occupy Canadian cities.” His solution to the protesters is to, “Ticket, tow, and if necessary, arrest.”

Bradley says the protests started in reaction to a federal Canadian law requiring truck drivers to be vaccinated to enter the country. Speaking to WPHM’s Paul Miller, Bradley says he does not expect Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to step down from his vaccination mandate. Even if he did, Bradley says it would be a moot point as vaccinations will still be required to enter the United States.
