Another suspicious message on a bathroom stall prompted a lockdown at Marysville High School Wednesday. The message was similar to one that prompted classes to be canceled halfway through the day Friday, which referenced a gun and a specific time. The message was reported to school administrators and law enforcement who decided to place the building into lockdown. Authorities searched students backpacks with no firearms or weapons being found, and the lockdown was lifted. According to Superintendent Dr. Shawn Wightman, authorities remained on the school campus for the remainder of the school day and students’ locker privileges have been restricted. Investigations into the message are ongoing and anybody with information is asked to contact Marysville Police.
