COVID-19 border restrictions are set to come to an end next week. The Department of Homeland Security is doing away with the requirement that foreign visitors must be vaccinated against COVID-19. Up to this point, Canadians entering the United States still need to prove vaccination status if requested by border agents. This marks an end for the Title 19 travel restrictions that prevented non-essential travel between the US and Canada during the pandemic. Also set to end at the same time is the COVID-19 Health Emergency which provided Federal funds to assist during the pandemic.
