Port Huron Museums offering free admission again

A popular program which made the Huron Light Ship, Thomas Edison Depot, and Carnegie Center Museums in Port Huron free of charge is back through the end of the year. Port Huron Museums partnering up with the Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, SEMCO Energy, and the City of Port Huron to offer the free admission. The fourth museum site, the Fort Gratiot Light Station, is still free if you’d like to roam about the grounds, but admission to guided tours of the buildings and tower will still cost $10 for adults, and $7 for students and seniors. Last year, the museum’s Andrew Kercher says the free admission program was taken advantage by tens of thousands of visitors.
