Port Huron Police say they need the public’s help after several vehicles and buildings were vandalized over the weekend. Port Huron Police Chief Joe Platzer says the investigation began around 4am Sunday when officers were called on reports of a reckless driver. The suspect’s vehicle was found abandoned and it was determined to be stolen from the area of 4th and Water Streets near Desmond Landing.
“Numerous vehicles, couple of businesses were damages, windows had been broken out, lights broken,” said Platzer. “We’re talking thousands and thousands of dollars worth of damage.”
Platzer says they are seeking leads from the public, and they can be submitted anonymously by calling the CAPTURE tip line at 810-987-6688 or by texting the keyword CAPTURE to 847-411. Tips that lead to as suspect’s arrest can result in a cash reward.
