Two seriously injured in M-25 crash

A head on collision involving three vehicles on Lakeshore Road has resulted in serious injuries to two individuals. St. Clair County Sheriff’s Deputies say it happened around 7:15 Friday morning when a Jeep driven by a Arkansas man was traveling north on Lakeshore Road when it crossed into the path of a southbound semi truck. The Jeep was struck by the truck, causing it to spin, and was struck head on by a second vehicle driven by a Lexington woman. The Arkansas man and the Lexington woman were taken to a local hospital and later transferred to a Metro Detroit hospital for treatment of serious injuries. No names have been released and the cause of the crash remains under investigation. Lakeshore road was closed for several hour this morning do to the incident.
