The Michigan Liquor Control Commission has suspended the liquor license of a Port Huron bar for violating Department of Health and Human Services orders. Captain Skrip’s Office Bar had its liquor license and permits suspended Monday for continuing to offer in person dining and bar service. The state alleges that the bar failed to prohibit patrons from gathering and failed to require face masks for staff and patrons. The owners of the bar will appear in front of an administrative law judge December 14th in order to decide whether the suspension should continue and if any other fines and penalties will be issued.
