The driver of a Utility Terrain Vehicle was found unresponsive Saturday night following a crash at the intersection of McKinley and Puttygut Roads in China Township. St. Clair Sheriff’s Department says the 35-year-old man from East China Township had been driving recklessly, performing doughnuts in the intersection prior to the crash. He was taken to McLaren Hospital of Macomb to be treated for severe injuries. His passenger, a 35-year-old from St. Clair, was uninjured. Authorities report alcohol was indeed a factor in the incident.
