A Yale girl is safe and sound following a brief scare Saturday morning. Yale Police received reports of a young girl who had left her house with her 5-year-old sister but had then wondered off by herself. Volunteers teamed up to find the 5-year-old along with the help of local, state, and county authorities. They searched the city in a grid pattern and the missing girl was located in the area of
Mary Street and M-19. According to police, at no time were the children abducted or approached by strangers.
