A Fort Gratiot Township man already facing charges of numerous criminal sex acts now has additional charges against him.
60 year old Mark Robert Olson appeared Monday in district court for a probable cause hearing. Prior to the hearing, prosecutors presented the judge with an amended warrant, listing 20 additional charges of first degree criminal sexual conduct. Olson was arraigned on those charges and denied bond. Earlier this month Olson was charged with five counts of first degree criminal sexual conduct and three counts of possession of child pornography. Investigations into Olson began in November as the result of an anonymous tip to the C.A.P.T.U.R.E. hotline. Detectives uncovered multiple criminal sex acts alleged to have been Committed by Olson between 2001 and 2008 in Fort Gratiot and Port Huron.
