St. Clair County Community College students will be finishing this semester online rather than in person. Pete Lacey, Vice President of Student Services for SC4, says faculty had to adapt quickly. “They’ve converted more than 350 sections that were not in an online format into some other alternative delivery for our students,” said Lacey. “We set out art kits, we sent out science lab kits, anything to help our students be successful.” Lacey says current and prospective students can still enroll in courses and apply for financial aid online at sc4.edu as advisors and admissions staff are working remotely. SC4’s Downtown Port Huron Campus will remain closed through at least April 13th. Spring commencement ceremonies have been postponed until December.
