The Port Huron Northern girl’s basketball team won its district on Friday with a 50-38 win over Lanse Creuse North. Sarah Wight scored 17 points for the third straight game to lead Northern, while Sydney Koppinger added 12 and Madison Adair 10 for the Huskies. Northern will open regional play on Monday at Macomb Dakota against Chippewa Valley.
