Tigers Win Home Opener

Niko Goodrum drove in three runs as the Detroit Tigers won their home opener on Thursday, 5-4 over the Kansas City Royals.  Miguel Cabrera and Christin Stewart also knocked in runs, while Spencer Turnbull went six innings, allowing two runs and striking on ten.  Game two of a three game series is Saturday at Comerica Park.  The Tigers have won three in a row.
