The Calgary Flames scored three times in the third period to pull away and beat the Detroit Red Wings 5-1 on Thursday night. The Wings have lost three in a row. Darren Helm had the lone Detroit goal. Game three of a trip through western Canada is set for Friday night in Edmonton for the Wings.
