Tigers Sign Two Sluggers

The Detroit Tigers have given one year deals for C.J. Cron and Jonathon Schoop, each worth $6.1 million.  Both played for the Minnesota Twins last season.  Cron, a first baseman, had 25 home runs with 78 RBI, and a .253 batting average, while Schoop, a second baseman, hit 23 home runs and drove in 59 runs, with a .256 average.
